Significance of Traditional Jewellery in the Gulf society

Al Romaizan managed, as we always do, to capture everyone’s attention at the Watch &Jewellery Middle East show. The outstanding hospitality, the marvellous new gold & jewellery collection, and the amazing offers we provided at the exhibition were out of question our unique signature.
Mr Mohammad Al Dhaibani, Al Romaizan sales and marketing manager was a special guest on Sharjah TV. He spoke about Al Romizan and our contributions to the jewellery world and this particular show.
“What distinguishes the UAE society is their adherence to their legacy.” Mr Mohammad said during the interview he had on the first day of the exhibition at Amassi TV show, expressing the unique taste Emirati society has. He went further by talking about the various traditional jewellery pieces that still function as the main items in the Emirati society, especially during social occasions such as Ramadan, Eids, etc.; he mentioned the most popular- highly demanded- jewellery items are Al Murtaasha, Al Shouk bracelets, Shegahb earrings, Hab Al Hail bracelets, and Al Mirya.
He also showed his gratitude to the Jewellery & Watches Middle East Show organisers for giving Al Romaizan this great chance to participate and to be honoured as the diamond sponsor for this well-known prestigious show. Participating in this show will provide us with great advantages such as good options for cooperating with similar companies in the field of gold and jewellery. Also, during such an event, we got the opportunity to explore the different exhibitors who came from different cultures and have great experience in the gold and jewellery field, such as Turkey, Italy, and Hong Kong, among other reputable countries.
As part of Al Romaizan's contributions to adhere to and preserve the rich culture and heritage of UAE, Mr Mohammad mentioned Al Romaizan's support to the new young Emirati designers. He believes these new designers play a nice role in renewing traditional jewellery by adding a lovely touch of modern styles such as gemstone or pearls. Since traditional jewellery is the dominant jewellery in the Emirati market and has great popularity, adding a few touches like these will help revive traditional jewellery. For this reason, Al Romaizan works with some talented Emirati women designers, and we support them throughout the whole production process, starting from the design to selling.
Mr Mohammad also spoke about what we present in our shops alongside the traditional jewellery; we have jewellery of fine Turkish and Italian gold and diamond jewellery. By representing a variety in our jewellery collection, of which our production facility makes around 70% of them, Al Romaizan successfully satisfies all our clients and tastes.
